A construction method in which the midfoot area of the upper wraps over the foot connecting with the midsole to provide superior control and support.
A supportive upper is vital in a running shoe, but it's often forgotten. There's no point having a midsole and outsole packed with technology to encourage your foot into a biomechanically efficient position if the upper is not strong enough to hold the foot securely to utilise the control.
